It's non-intrusive and resource-light. It is just an anti-virus solution probably with some anti-spyware crossover , though, whereas SEP is rather more dramatic in its reach. I gave up on these bloated, intrusive packages from Symantec and McAfee years ago, but I understand they've improved quite a lot the last couple of years.
