The item spots refill with new random items every day. More than one of each item can appear per day. The items are not fixed until they are picked up, so the item may be different after resetting.
After the Grunt is defeated, the player will be able to push the button behind the poster that opens the entrance to the Team Rocket Hideout. Here, the player can exchange coins for prizes. The prize corner being in a separate building is due to how pachinko parlours operate in Japan.
In Japan, it is illegal to directly pay out cash for pachinko balls or tokens, but this regulation is often circumvented as legally independent exchange shops are set up nearby, where the players can redeem the prizes for cash. Like in the games, the Game Corner was shown to house the entrance to Team Rocket 's hideout , opened by pressing a secret switch behind a poster.
Red , disguised as a Team Rocket Grunt , infiltrated the hideout in order to find out about Green 's whereabouts. Page actions Article Discussion View source History.

Your first encounter with Team Rocket is in Azalea Town. Once you arrive in town, you will see a resident arguing with a Team Rocket member. Go and see Kurt and he will tell you that Team Rocket are cutting off the tails of the local Slowpoke in the Slowpoke Well. He rushes off to the Well. Go there and you will find Kurt injured. He asks you to head in. Head in and you will find several Rocket members and some Slowpoke.
Defeat the Rocket members and you will eventually find the Rocket Executive in charge of this endeavor, Proton. You then go and battle him. When you get to Mahogany Town, you will learn of a radio signal being sent out causing the Gyarados in Lake of Rage to go crazy. Return to Mahogany Town and enter the shop. Lance is there and uncovers an entrance to a Secret Hideout. You both enter to go defeat Team Rocket.
When inside, you will find a variety of statues that trigger an alarm due to proximity. Each alarm brings up two Rocket Grunts for you to fight.
Continue on through the area and you'll soon find a tile puzzle. You have the ability to put notes of what you think the tile may be, so you have a reminder of what a Voltorb card may be. This makes it easier for you to get the coins you need to get the prizes. The game however, remains the same and to use it, you need the Coin Case and some coins.
You can buy some to get you started from the counter; 50 Coins for and for Like previous games, you place one coin into the machine and you start running slots. Your task is to get three icons in a row at any point, diagonally or horizontally.
There are six different icons for you to get and the price is dependant on them. But again, we highly recommend against it. From the location of the computer, backtrack all the way back up the corridor, until you can walk eastward.
This will bring you in front of yet another cat statue. To the east from there is a Hyper Potion. After grabbing the Hyper Potion , walk to the south, and then head to the west.
This route should bring you across the final two of five cat statues, as well as a Nugget. Further to the west, you'll find a yellow transporter that will bring you back to the entrance so head back to the entrance if you need to heal. To the north are some booby-trapped floors. Step on these to call up endless streams of wild Geodudes and Koffings, if you so desire. Otherwise, use the stairs at the southwestern end of this floor to head to the floor below.
After heading downstairs and walking a ways to the east, you'll run into your friend Lance once more. He'll heal your party of Pokemon completely, which is useful. Thereafter, he'll bid you adieu once more. Continue to the east. You'll see some metal doors blocking your path to the north; ignore those for now. Continue to the east to fight the Team Rocket Grunt there, and then backtrack and walk southward.
You should be able to continue east here to another staircase leading to the floor below, and en route, you'll get to fight another Team Rocket Grunt as well. Here, your task is to get the password to continue onward. The first Grunt you encounter won't actually fight you, but his two friends in the office next to him will, so be sure to engage them both in conflict.
Indeed, if you continue westward, you'll find another Scientist and another Grunt to do battle with as well and they are guarding a Protein and X Special further to the west, so be sure to grab those following the conflicts. There's also a TM49 and a Full Heal on the square-shaped corridor surrounding the office to the east of this floor. Once all four items are found and all four trainers are fought and slain, you should have garnered the passwords you need. With this information in hand, head to the northeast side of this room, and take that staircase back up to the floor above.
