You can move characters around with the control pad, and perform different types of attacks.

Basic attacks are easy to perform, and do damage with your equipped weapon. Multiple hits can result in a combo. Basic attacks get the job done, but they are not the strongest techniques which you can get.

There are actually more advanced moves and skills out there to master. Another thing to take note of is a "Special Arts" feature. Special Arts are powerful melee attacks that require MP to use. The more the certain Special Art is used, the more powerful it becomes. Casting spells is done by symbologists and, like Special Art attacks, these use up MP. However, spell-casting is timed, and can be easily interrupted, so if you're controlling a magic user, be careful with close enemies.

A key to winning is having an organised group of characters with properly set tactics. Strategy commands can be pre-set before any battle starts, and also changed in the middle of the battle. All characters in the party fight according to the set strategy. Keep in mind that there will be many different situations in the game which will require a whole different strategy plan to use.

Experimenting is the way to go. I will try to cut their number to minimum, although I'm not the one to blame if you see something you don't want to see yet. Nevertheless, I will try to cut down the spoilers to minimum. It has long inspired the dreams of billions. These dreams, countless in number, spread infinitely throughout the universe A race of sentient being from Planet Lezonia discovered in Sector Gamma, declared war on the Terran Alliance, igniting the flames of ferocious warfare across the galaxy.

The battleship Calnus received a commendation for excellence in command for its victory in the battle against Lezonia. The captain of the Calnus and his second-in-command successfully contained a mysterious virus outbreak on the underdeveloped frontier planet Roak. They were also able to prevent the tyrannical Jie Revorse's diabolical plan to conquer Earth. Thanks to his achievements, my father was promoted to admiral at the unprecedented young age of I respected him more than anybody else in my life.

I know that being a Federation officer is among the greatest accomplish- ments anyone can hope to achieve in this universe. But I am my own man. I'm no puppet; I'm not just the son of Admiral Ronyx J. Kenny, hero of the Pangalactic Federation. So what am I doing here, of all places? The gears of the universe continue to turn Kenny And now the story begins After watching the introduction scene in Milokeenia, you'll find yourself in the Sacred Forset of Arlia, trying to save some girl's life.

Fight a pretty easy battle and get yourself familiar with the battle system. You'll jump to level 2 immediately : Anyway, you have to go to the village of Arlia. After exploring the town talking with everyone go to Rena's house. Scene follows. Wander around the room to wait for Rean to come. Buy some Spectacle from the shop.

Afterwards, exit the village via north exit. You'll be in the overworld map. A few words about it - you can save anywhere you want here, and sometimes use to level up. Now I'd suggest you to level up to at least level 5 here. The town of Salva is just north of Arlia. Explore the town a little bit, talk to everyone. Note that you can't go to the Salva Mines yet. Go back to Arlia.

A scene follows. Return to Salva. Approach the mayor's house for another scene. Touch the golden thingie in the NE corner to open a secret passageway.

Go north. Go norht for IRON. Keep on keeping on west, then go north to save again. South and west again to the nest screen. Get GOLD from the chest.

Read the sign. This is where you'll be able to get a secret party member later in the game. Turn back for now and head to the savepoint. Save and finally head east. Just keep on mashing him while Rena heals you when needed and he'll go down in 20 seconds or less. You'll be back at the mayor's mansion. Back in Arlia, talk to the mayor before bedtime. After the scene go outside and to the left screem to find Rena standing on the bridge.

After the scene, you can now go to Krosse. Private Actions also become available now. This is the first skill guild you'll find in the game. Buy all the skill sets, they cost almost nothing. Afterwards, go to Krosse castle, which is to the north. At the castle, talk to the left receptionist.

Then talk to the soldiers at the 1st floor. Go north for a scene with the king of Krosse. You will get Fol and a Travel Permit from him. Go back to the city. You'll meet Celine at the plaza.

After the scene, agree to go with her to the Krosse Cave you can't decline her offer anyway. Celine will temporarily join you. You'll also get a Treasure Map key item. Your next destination is Krosse Cave, which is east of Krosse City. Mineral, The Scream, Magic Canvas,? Return to the fork, go east and north. You'll come to a three-way fork here. Then return to the fork and go northeast.

Return two screens right and go north into the hole. Back one screen, go left to get? Go back to the fork where you found Lavender and?

Back east, east again, east one more time to reach a savepoint and a weird stone. A scene takes place. Save afterwards. Heal yourself and enter the passageway with a green light. You'll see five chests. Another scene. Keep hitting them with Claude, and have Celine casting her magic to quickly dispose of these little bastards. Return to the beginning of the dungeon.

Here, you'll have an option to say goodbye to Celine or ask her to stay with you. The choice is yours. Anyway, our next destination is Kurik, which is pretty far away from where we are now. To get there, read the sign near the Krosse Cave to find out that Kurik lies north of Krosse. Follow the north road from that sign until you reach this port town. Go to the mansion on the hill near the town's entance to get LYRE. Go to the western part of town. Go to the dock on the south and talk to the ship captain.

Go back north for another scene. Oops, out of money! Run around the town, visiting all areas until you find a boy in the eastern area near the weapon shop. After the scene, visit Ketil's house near the entrance , the restaurant, the tailor shop and finally go speak with the kids playing at the dock for a scene.

Talk to the ship captain, go north again. Dammit, the whole town is ruined. On the hill overlooking town, speak with the captain and go up to speak with Ketil. You'll get your Travel Permit back. Looks like now you have to go to Lacuer.

But first we need to get to Marze. Marze is to the east of Krosse City. Now, use the shops if you want and remember the place near the inn, where an old man is. You can pickpocket him assuming you have Thief Gloves , and if your Pickpocketing specialty is at a high enough level, you can steal a Goodie Box from him. Goodie Box can rarely give you powerful items early in the game.

Remember that you can buy Thief's Gloves at Hilton for a whopping sum of Fol. But enough of that crap; go to the elder's house near the west entrance and witness a long scene. Rena will leave your party for a while. When you're done, talk to the village elder and choose to rest. You'll get Mud Shoes eventually. It's time to enter the Forest of Symbols. Go west at the intersection for a?

Go east thebn until you run into a fight with three bandits. It's easy, and gives a decent amount of EXP points. Keep following the only path, and you'll fight another group of bandits.

When you'll come to an area covered with mud, equip the Mud Shoes to get past it. Go back and continue left. Another group of bandits will ambush you. Then go north again. Take the east path to save.

North again. Then go all the way west for a scene. Treat it like that Allen Tucks guy. With Celine's help, it should be quick and painless. You'll be back in Marze. Try to leave the village and Celine will stop you. Ok, looks like now you have to go to Harley to get to Lacuer from there, but I highly advice you to start working on recruitment of some new party members from this point.

If you want Ashton, go to Harley, speak with the two men near the entrance to find out about some dragon trouble in Salva Mines Harley is west from Marze. Then head for the Mines. Note that you can't get Opera and Ernest if you get Ashton. It's the first step to getting Opera. So, assuming you want Ashton, go talk to those two men in Harley and return to Salva Mines. Enter the dungeon from the town. Then go to the savepoint near the place where you fought Allen and save.

From there head south till you can't anymore and go west. Now you can pass the previously unpassable point. Then west. Then take the west exit. You'll see a running man. Then head south to save. Go right for a scene. Choose to take responsibility to get Ashton, or avoid it, if you want Opera. Go back north TWO screens. Leave the Mines now, you're done here. When you attempt to leave Salva, a scene will be triggered if you have Ashton. That means you can now start his exorcising quest.

Go back to Harley now. You can do some optional dungeons now, but we'll leave them for later. Head to Harley now east of Marze. Don't forget to visit the Skill guild. Enter the Zandor's mansion on the top of the town. You're done here, so take a ship to Hilton for Fol.

Visit the Skill guild to upgrade you skill sets to level 2. Exit Hilton and go to Lacuer City, which is east of Hilton. Talk to the receptionist and you'll need to choose one shop as your sponsor. Go to the east part of town pick one of four shops. Your new shiny Armory Contest Badge helps here.

Whenever you're ready fo the contest, go to the inn and sleep there. After the scene go to the waiting room to the left and talk to a few combatants.

Your first match is up next. It's very easy. Go talk to Celine or Ashton after the match. Soon you'll fight your second match which is no big difference from the first. The third match is a tad hard. Use all of your items here if you need. The sasquatch can hit for HP damage so beware. Your final match is against Dias Flac.

You're destined to lose here. After the fight, go to your sponsor shop to claim the second place prize. You can also go Gamgee's shop now on the west part of town.

Your next destination is Linga, but now would be a good time to do Ashton's quest if you want. Refer to the Side-quests section for details. You can also recruit Welch in Lacuer now, if you have 4 or more party members. If you want to recruit her, exit the town and do a PA in it. Run to the Bowman's house for a scene. Voila, you can have Precis now! Note that you can't get Bowman if you have Precis.

To advance the plot, go into the center house in the south part of the town. After the scene, go to the house in the left part of the northern part of town. Speak with Bowman there. Looks like you need to go to the Linga Sacred Grunds to prove that you've indeed been to Krosse Cave.

Sacred Grounds are situated right next to Linga. Go back east. From this place, go north, then continue north at the intersection. Looks like we've found an unknown herb. But we're not done here yet. Return to the last intersection, go south, at the next fork go east. Run up the stairs and head immediately north.

Keep going north, and you'll come to a three-way fork. Take the center path. Return west. Go west this time and then north.

Descend to the dragon skeleton. From this chest, go right through the rock wall to the savepoint. Continue north for a scene. Keep spanking th larvas with Claude and Ashton if you have him , while Celine kills them from afar. Thet might swallow your characters which looks funny, and you won't be able to move your character for a while.

Just hit the larvas with another characeter, and they'll spit you out. Go back to the place with Twin Splicers and go west. Now run south. Now take the left path to descend the stairs.

You're done here, so backtrack to the entrance. Return to Linga and talk with Bowman again. Go to Keith's house for a scene. At Bowman's house, go to the 2nd floor and talk to Bowman in the bedroom. Now's the time to go to Lacuer.

If you want to get Welch, do a PA here, cause soon enough she'll be unavailable. Go to the Symbological Weapons Laboratory on the ground floor accessible through the east hall. Leon will give you a Combo Link and join the party temporarily. Your next destination is Hoffman Ruins place. Go to Hilton and talk with a man in blue armor. Choose "We're all set! Let's go! From the Hoffman coast, go through the woods to the place.

Run up the stairway. After a little scene, go through the newly opened door. Head immediately east to a savepoint. Back at the savepoint, enter the green elevator. Continue south east. Go northeast and pull the lever to blow up the rocks. You HP will be halved, so heal right away. Go back to the explosion site and run southeast. Don't pull the lever, there's nothing there. Go south. Go south again. The boss is up ahead, but let's get all th remaining chests. Go southwest, making a little turn.

Return northeast. The northeast again, then east. Keep going east, then northeast again. Continue east again. Now go southeast. Return north. Then go northwest.

Then head north again. Keep following the northwest path for 2 screens. Backtack to the savepoint by going south, south, southwest and east. Save and go north for a scene. Keep using Helmetbrak, Rock Explosion and everything else that you feel will help. Keep them away from Rena, so that she won't fall from their attacks. There's nothing more to say, really, just hack away and heal when needed.

You will obtain the Energy Stone after the battle. Return to the entrance. If you already have Opera, and have seen the crashsite in the Sacred Forest, then you'll run into Ernest, possessed by a ghost. Win a quick battle and you will have an option to leave Ernest in the group. If you choose not to, he AND Opera will leave the party forever. Run to the coast and return to Lacuer. Head for the castle throne room for another scene.

Go left on the second screen. Then go norhtwest. Enter the commander's office for a scene. Go talk to Dias after it. After the conversation talk with Rena. On the next day, run back to the first screen to save.

Talk to the people in the general store and go up for a scene. You have to survive for 1 minute and it will end. Just keep healing yourself until you're through with it. Go to the hospital room, and another scene takes place. You'll fight three Stone Statue first, that aren't hard at all, and then you'll fight Cynne once again. You're destined to lose, so just let him smite you off. Claude will come to his senses on an unknown seashore.

After the scene with Leon, go north on the world map to reunite with your party in the village of Eluria. As you leave, the youth will give and ID Card key item. After you leave Eluria, you'll see an interesting scene involving Ronyx.

Now go to the Eluria Tower, northeast of Eluria village. Take whichever stairs you want to 2F. Go back east and continue north to the savepoint. Take the eastern teleporter. Take the west exit to 5F. You'll obtain the Key Card. Take southwestern teleporter. After the scene, go west. Onboard Calnus, talk to Ronyx, when you'll gain control of Claude again. You will be sent back to Eluria Tower soon after.

Take the northeastern teleporter to 6F. Head north to meet an old friend. Get rid of Stone Statues and focus all of your attacks on the flying bastard. Soon enough he will die, since he has no potentially dangerous attacks and pathetic defense. Take the teleport which Cynne was blocking. Just let him destroy you. He will pay for that later.

After some shocking events happening at the top of Eluria Tower, you'll find yourself on a different planet. The mayor of th city, Nall, will welcome you. After the scene, get out of the building and explore the city. They have a very nice selection of weapons and items for you.

Beside, you should have enough Fol by now to buy all of the new equipment. The Skill guild here sucks. Don't forget to buy Lezard's Flask in the item shop, you'll need it. You can encountet Chisato in the west part of town, but the process of recruiting her is yet to begin. Exit the city in the south. Ok, our next stop is North City, to the north of course.

Go to the north to the library, the Nedepedia. Run the materials about the history of Nede and Ten Wise Men here by talking to the operator. Then go east to get yourself a Psynard. A scene follows, and a boss battle begins. Just keep using Helmetbreak to finish him off. You'll be transported to the Endangered Species Protection Area, i.

Noel's home. He'll join your party for a while. Go north og Noel's house into the cavern. Return to the fork and go straight north into the tunnel with yellow light. Go back and run northwest this time. Exit this screen in southeast. Go straight east and descend the stairs. Chisato will appear yet again. You'll need it if you want to recruit her later. When you'll see a Psynard, keep going east and take the 1st bridge south you'll see. Go south and west in the end. Save at the savepoint.

Go north for a boss battle. They may die if they get in the way of Arachnovias. So all you need to do is not let the spiderwomans get to the back. Use every Special Art at your very disposal to take them out. You'll have an option to let Noel permanently join you. You also have Psynard now! Get back to the Centropolis and go into the north building.

If you still have an empty spot in your party, you can recruit Chisato now. Speak to her at 2F at the desk to have her join you. Go talk to Nall at the top floor. He'll give you a Rune Code and a Combo Link. The next four dungeons can be hard, so make sure you're leveled properly. The first one we will visit is the Field of Wisdom, north of Centropolis.

Again, only one way to go here until you reach a save point. Proceed through the door to initiate one of the harder boss fights in the main story.

Also equip them with Amulets of Flexibility or something that prevents stone. Set one of the melee on Haniel and take control of Claude. Use him to pummel Michael and interrupt his deadly spells. Have your healer removing stone if someone is afflicted by it since Haniel loves using a move that causes the affect. Take Michael down first then focus on Haniel, Mirror Blade works wonders in this fight. The rooms here are controlled by the switches in each room. Pressing a switch one way closes and opens other doors.

Time to get out of this crazy maze. Take the path out to the elevator and the 7th floor. Follow the path to an intersection and make a left. Return to the intersection and continue right until you get to a save point. Continue going left until you reach another boss. Immediately heal up and begin a melee assault. He can also teleport around the room, use jumping techniques to close the gap and interrupt his spell casts.

Now and again you can catch him mid teleport and stun him, this is key to winning the battle. Mirror Blade works well once Lucifer is stunned. Go left and take the teleporter to the eighth floor.

Go through the middle hall to another teleporter. The end of the path is yet another teleporter back to the eighth floor. Follow the path all the way around and continue left past the save point for now.

Return to the save point and save. Notice that the save file block has a blue background now as opposed to the black one. This is a trigger for two key events in the game. The other being able to turn off Gabriel's limit and make him the hardest boss in the game. Check out the Sidequests section of the guide for more information. Gabriel isn't that hard to manage during this phase considering he is slothy and uses few spells. The spells he does use are devastating and will require immediate healing to all party members.

When Gabriel emits halos use jump attacks to break the chain and do some damage. If someone goes down be sure to get them up immediately. Watch trying to chain attacks too much because if Gabriel slips away he most likely will get a spell off.

This is phase 2 and Gabriel moves much faster now. He can cast instant death spells on top of his previous arsenal and can cast while moving. Once again, Mirror Blade is a choice technique for this battle.

If Nimble Fingers is not listed than you can always restart and check again when you first gain control of Rena. Leave this house and go into Rena's house. When you are done collecting items leave town via the south exit to enter the Sacred Forest. A battle occurs when the FMV ends but you can't control the mystery man. He wins the fight and level's up.

He introduces himself as Claude C. Kenny and the two head back to Arlia. Enter the newlyweds house then head to the east side of town. Enter the Item Shop, after Rena is done talking you can make a few purchases. When it's time to find Claude leave the house and enter the building with the two kids playing, then make your way to the newly weds home.

When you leave the newlyweds home Claude will be wandering south of the bridge. Talk to him and return to Rena's house. When you regain control of Rena head to the Mayor's house. Another long scenario takes place here, but when you're in control again head to Sacred Forest and go all the way to the back to enter another scene. Go downstairs and into the room on the right. If you examine the shining object in the corner you will discover the hidden path behind the bookcase. Head up and speak with the man for some background on what happened.

Head down and left again, Rena will stop and read the sign "Beware of dragons" and decides not to go that way. Try to go upstairs to initiate a conversation with Westa. After talking to Rena's mother try to head to the Sacred Forest. As you make your way back you'll find Claude on the bridge. After the scenes play out you will be on the world map. Head north along the trail to Salva. She escorts the two to a room and in the morning you regain control of Rena. As you return to the town square a man and woman are fighting over what appears to be a map, Rena interjects but the lady can handle herself.

She gets to the point, she has a treasure map of a cave and wants Rena to go, humbly accept with the answer "All right, let's go.

Return to Fountain Square to start an event in which Rena's wallet gets stolen. Rena gets her wallet back and Ketil agrees to be a tour guide. The Ship Captain will tell Rena to make any last minute purchases before heading off so return to Fountain Square. Teel him you wish to rest up until tomorrow morning. Heal up and head left to find where the children are only to be interupted.

With Claude back in the party attempt to leave Marze only to be stopped by Celine who suggests staying the night. Head to the far west side of town and go up towards the hut. Speak with Sophia, the little girl, and take her with you to the tavern. Speak with the man on the right to make Sophia follow you, then speak with the men in the top left of the tavern to make her follow you once more.

Try to leave the bar to trigger a scene with Dias. Return to the inn and rest the night when you are done. In the morning proceed through the castle to the arena by going left from the main hall and following the hall. Speak to the person at the front desk to begin a scene with Dias again. Head to Gamgee's hut to discover what has happened then proceed to the tavern to battle the thieves.

Return to the front desk at the arena to enter Dias in the contest. Enter the spectators area on the right and run around till you find Claude. Talk with him and watch Dias' match. After Dias wins his match run to the south side of the arena and speak with Gamgee, then return to your seat. It is important that Claude wins his way to the finals because if he doesn't then you will miss out on arguably the best weapon in the game.

The best way to guarantee this is to give Claude the Helmetbreak special art only. After every battle speak with Gamgee then return to your seat. After the finals return to the weapon shop that sponsored you to get all the items you used plus a sum of [ FOL]. Rena runs into Opera here and after some conversing Rena agrees to help out. After a conversation she will ask to join and then team up with Rena when she leaves the village.

Eventually you'll gain control of Rena inside Bowman's house, Pickpocket your friends and head to the back room. At this time you have the option of recruiting Dias, he is a very good melee fighter and it is a personal recommendation that you take him. Head to the front line to find Claude when your done shopping. When you gain control of Rena again talk to everyone around including the infirmary, then rest there.

Enter the Chief's hut and speak with the Chief. After some intense scenes you regain control of Rena. His objective is to get to Harley, so speak to him and tell him to "Go North". If you head to Harley you will notice Ruddle has not made it, so head to Marze.

Enter the item shop and tell Ruddle that "It's further east of here. Tell him "You just need to travel by boat again" to finally get him to Harley. Head to the inn in Harley and enter the second room on the west wing. Enter the library and speak to the Operator who offers to let you read all the information they have on the Ten Wise Men and Energy Nede.

Read all of the files and try to access the Classified Information. The group cannot read it at this time but once you can ride a Psynard head to Princebridge located in the snowy area on the west side of the map.

Head to the back of Princebridge and enter the university. Enter the western most room on the second floor. After talking with him head to the eastern most room on the first floor and speak with Professor Parel. Return to Leifath who needs an insider to get the information he needs on how to hack the database.

Head to Centropolis. If Chisato is in your party enter via Private Action and find her in the west part of town. If she isn't then you need to have done the necessary steps to have recruited her but then turned her down.

Find Chisato on the third floor at Nede Times. She agrees to help out but says it will take time. Leave Centropolis then turn around and go back to Chisato. With this new information return to North City. Speak with the Operator in the library again and access the Classified Information. Choose any of the four options you are presented with to find out that you need higher clearance.

If you have visited the Symbological Weapons Laboratory then you may continue this quest. Fly to Princebridge and speak with Director Leifath. Choose the options "That's actually us" and "Tell him". Speak with Leifath once more and view the first two topics. Make sure to read all the files. When your done Leifath finds more files, but trying to read them leads to him getting caught.

He says he downloaded all the files but needs to decode them. Give the box to Director Leifath who says he can decode the files now but it will take some time. Make time pass by leaving Princebridge, initiating a Private Action, exiting again, and then return to Director Leifath.

You now have access to all the files and have fully learned about the Ten Wise Men. Of course that means you need a Psynard to fly here. Admission for any event is Fol. In order to win you must survive four rounds. Victory in Rank A rewards your characters with individualized weapons. In order to win you myst survive three rounds. You gain Fol and Skill Points for the winning character. Team Battle is five 1v1 battles between your party and monsters.

You must assign each character a rank in which to fight. A character may be chosen more than once but never twice consecutively.

The battles increase in difficulty as you progress. You must win three of the five battles in order to claim victory. For the first half it isn't so bad, but after round 30 you start fighting some enemies from the Maze of Tribulation. Tell him you want to delve into your subconscious mind to be ported to Arlia. Outside of Arlia is your Psynard, mount it and fly to the island to the west where a pyramind is - this is the Maze of Tribulations.

It is recommended that you are well equipped and roughly level Return to the last room and go down. Exit this room and head left, this is the boss area.

Return to the switch and enter the area you opened for a boss fight. Other than that, she isn't terribly difficult and is easily stunlocked. Take out the Phantom Knights first, they will drop with relative ease and the boss should soon follow suit.

Make sure your melee are wearing them and proceed to the next floor. Head left from the entrance til you come to a room where you can go down or up - go up. Walk over the cracked floor four times to make it break.

You will land unharmed on the 9th floor but know that you should only use this shortcut after you have cleared the first 8 floors. The objective is to turn each statue to face the direction of the person mentioned. Return to the initial room continuing left and down. Go down and turn Yuffie south to face Lloyd. Head down to Lloyd and face him east towards Cistina, then head right and face her south into oblivion. Return to the previous room and head right, facing Felia east towards Milena and Luke.

The door in the first room is now unlocked, proceed through it for another boss fight. Just pound away at it and end it quickly. Arguably the best piece of armor in the game, equip this first of four on your healer. The tablet before the steps only tells you about the Combo Link between Milena and Luke; onward to the next floor.

It's a 4x4 grid area so it's not the difficult to navigate. Begin by heading up two rooms, left one, and down another. Head down and left to complete the puzzle, through the door is boss.

To avoid being chain frozen focus on one at a time. Make sure your healer is prepared once your are unfrozen because you likely have low health on someone. Luckily these guys don't have much HP so the damage output required is not high, just make sure you focus on one at a time to get the job done. If Leon is not in the party then the chest will just be closed and the item deemed unnecessary. Backtrack two rooms this time going up then through the left wall.

Flip the switch and return to the main room. The middle room is now accessible and you will meet a goddess. Her request is that you play her some music. To be successful have a character with level 10 Music, the Rhythm Sense talent, and the Listening talent play the song. Leave this room and follow the left path until you reach the boss. Try to pin it down like any other boss and stunlock it. It can inflict the party with poison and other status ailments but they can be cleansed.

The answer to her next question is BEASTS but what ever answers you provide her don't matter anyways as a battle ensues. You must choose the option Escape from the menu in order to fight another day, that is unless you want to deal all that damage 1 point at a time.

Leave at the bottom and head left. Return to the previous room and proceed right. You run into Puffy again, choose to help her and defeat the Dreamcasters. Return to the first room of the floor and enter the first room on the right. One hit and down it goes. Leave this room and go right, down, right so that you are a red door. Approach it and use the Orb of Fire to open the door. The majority of the enemies here are Scum, that meaning they will die in one hit from the Scumbag Slayer.

From the start head left twice and then up. Return to the middle room and examine the statue at the bottom right corner to open the boss door. Take note that a man named Santa may here near the bottom row of statues. He sells some very nice things such as tri-Emblems, Jewel of the Frog, and every mineral in the game. Jewel of the Frog will teleport you out of the dungeon and though expensive, it is highly recommended you purchase a few as well as the tri-Emblem accessory.

Buy more than one tri-Emblem if you can afford it as they are superb. For those of you that don't, stick it to the Dreamcaster off the start and then try to keep up with the Thieving Scum LV It's fast, it can poison, and hits like a truck.

Hopefully you equipped your melee with the Bunny Shoes since they will allow you to keep up with and hit the boss. It becomes helpful seeing as the next floor contains many of the Thieving Scum LV99 mobs.

There is also a warp point here that will return you to the first floor, allowing you to save. Examine the tablet then exit at the left. Backtrack to the room with the altar. Go back up two rooms then take the path on the right.

Place the orb in the altar and proceed through the top door. It remains stationary for the duration of the fight and uses Pain Release when enough damage has incurred. Do your best to keep it stunned and if you do take a Pain Release halt your attack until everyone is topped off before assaulting the boss again.

It is a massive upgrade for either Celine, Leon, or Noel. The right door takes you to the next floor. Go up from here to enter the main room then take an immediate right to enter another area. Backtrack to the main room and take the top left path. Follow the hallway to the end. There are two chests protected by fake walls, the entrances being on the top and bottom ends if you were standing between the chests. Return to the main room and go to the top then speak with the Food God.

Feed him until he comments on how that's all you eat. At this point feed him some thing that isn't food to make Puffy come out from behind the wall and open the door. Enter the newly opened door for another boss fight.

The boss is sluggish and doesn't really attack but instead devours your party members. When they get spit back out they are petrified, so use Condition Cure and continue to beat on the boss until it drops.

Use this as a good time to save and heal up if you wish. Note that this is the room you land in if you take the shortcut. Exit at the top and continue right for three rooms then head down. Follow this around until you can go up. Continue passed the coffin and down the stairs. The boss for this floor is not accessible at this time so just move on for now. The Life Flayers strike hard and fast hitting multiple targets at once. Not to mention they usually come at least four at a time.

Be sure to strike the ones in the back first and take them out quickly because they are glass cannons, i. The puzzle to this floor is that you can only open five rooms at a time. Step on the grids as shown in Diagram 1 first. Return to the first room then go to floor nine and return to reset the floor. Now step on the grids as shown in Diagram 2. If Celine is not in the party then the chest will be closed and deemed unnecessary.

Enter the last room at the top and make sure you are healed up. Go down the stairs and be stopped by a boss. It functions exactly the same, taking cover after a certain amount of damage has been incurred and hitting hard.

Your best bet is to just keep it stunned for the duration of the fight. Proceed through the only path to find the boss. The reason for this is the Dragon Tyrant's breath attack. It chains and each hit has a chance to petrify the target. Everyone should have a Seraphic Garb on and the melee should be wearing Ring of Lightspeed. Make sure that the party is now wearing Valiant Boots and Valkyrie Boots as opposed to Bunny Shoes, the defensive part of the fight is key to victory.

Now that you're equipped for the battle you should have an easier time taking this foe out. Let your melee attack first then run around the backside with Claude and unleash a frivolous assault. This should stun the boss for a second and allow you to heal for the initial damage.

Keep up the assault and repeat this technique and take him out. If you have an Experience Card it would bode well to use it to have all four party members gain , EXP for one battle.

This technique is used later to boost your party to maximum level fairly quickly so get it down. As you approach the door it will tell you to leave, so use the warp portal behind you and take the option to split the party down to a two person group.

You are forced to take your protoganist so it is recommended that you take Claude and Rena regardless. Use the shortcut to floor 9 and make your way back to the door, this time it lets you through.

When your ready head up into the main room. The top room is where the boss is. The easiest way to stop this is to launch an all out assault on it because it stuns easily. In comparison to the other bosses this one has low HP so it should go down rather quickly. The tablet reads that you need both the light and dark to enter the last floor.

Assuming the Holy Sword Farewell is the light, you need to obtain the dark. Return to the mazes entrance to regroup with the party. Take the shortcut down to floor 9 and make your way towards floor 10 to notice the coffin here is open, examine it to initiate another boss fight. The Dreamcasters are here to make sure the spell gets off by halting your party.

The objective here is single target the Dreamcasters and use offensive spells constantly, assuming you use a spell caster. This will keep the Sorcerer from casting and the Dreamcaster from freezing the party. If you don't carry a spell caster then be sure to give some attention to the Sorcerer. A single hit should give you the opportunity to damage the Dreamcasters.

With a whopping ATK power this is easily the most powerful weapon in the game. Return to the 12th floor and defeat the Phoenix once more. Examine the door to make the swords glow and open the path. Proceed up to the main area. After you flip both switches the middle door opens. As soon as you pass through it you will speak with and engage the boss, so make sure you are prepared.

Chain of Might should be used on a character that uses Special Arts more than direct damage. Gabriella can cast Meteor Swarm and occasionally will zoom around the battlefield dealing upwards of damage to anyone she hits along the way. She nullifies Light damage so using Aeterna is all but pointless. Be careful with your combos because she can and will slip out of them then counter you for massive damage, typically a one-shot.

When it comes down to it this fight is all or nothing so make full use of all consumables and keep the pressure up. Be sure to micro-manage the party and preemptively heal when Gabriella starts zooming around the battlefield. Stick with it till the end because this is the longest battle you've had so far.

You are forced to leave the dungeon now but there are no random encounters along the way. If you choose to re-enter the maze then the enemies will come back.

Note that you must play the song in a place where random encounters Level 4 Hell Savant occur and you must play the song successfully in order for the enemy to be summoned.

Word of Death is pretty obvious, it's an instant death spell. Fortunately, light damage affects her so equipping Claude with the Archangel's Bracelet will allow for the star scatter to do damage as well. The worst thing about the Iseria Queen is her normal attack and her counter attack. Her counter attack shoots multiple waves of light pillars that protrude from the ground causing thousands of damage.

Her normal attack can petrify your party. If you thought that was bad, every time the Iseria Queen blocks your attacks stars scatter back at you which is potentially fatal. If you are using Rena be sure to cast Angel Feather when you have the chance and remember to start this battle after playing the Celebration Hymn. AVD plays a more important role then DEF does in this fight because of the necessity to block or parry attacks.

Use Immunity Pills to prevent the possibility of petrify and use the same gear you did when you fought against Gabriella Celeste. Worst case scenario you can use Bloody Armor. The first one being in Kurik with Philia and the second one being in Centropolis with Philia again. The Private Action in Kurik must be completed before the town is destroyed. The one in Centropolis can only be viewed after you have reached the final save point at Phynal Tower 8F.

Philia is located in the Mayor's Hall and she asks you to kill her. This unlocks Gabriel's full potential and is refered to as releasing his limiter. The good news is that almost all of them are elemental and you should either reduce, nullify, or absorb most of it.

Gabriel also creates halos around himself that don't stop after you get hit once so be sure to stay out of those or you will take unnecessary damage. Lastly, Gabriel can heal himself for but you more than likely do that much per hit.

Come geared in your normal epic boss apparel and bring some of those handy Immunity Pills so that you aren't taking any status ailments thus making your healer cast Condition Cure instead of a heal. The main focus should be on not over doing your combos and not letting him cast. Bringing a ranged attacker can be beneficial because if Gabriel does get away you can still interrupt his casts.

Keep in mind that this is the only boss in the game that can cast while moving, thus making it incredibly difficult to stop his casts. Stick to your guns and finish the battle to view the true ending. The first one requires you to be under level , have a Counterfeit Medal, and Replication. Start by playing the Goddess' Arrival, then begin Replicating the Counterfeit Medals until you have Return to a store and purchase more Magical Film as needed.

Use a Counterfeit Medal on all of your characters and enter a battle, level up. Do this until you have 1 Counterfeit Medal left then simply Replicate it again. Counterfeit Medals only work up to level but that's more than enough to beat the game. If you are trying to level up to or atleast a bit higher than level so that you can defeat the epic bosses in the game then there is a way to do it quickly.

The boss is terribly easy and yields 1. Use Replicate to make Experience Cards made from Art to double your gains. This will yield , experience points to each character, more than enough to gain at least 1 level all the way to If you have some high value items such as Shield of the Arc or the Sword of Marvels you can replicate them and use Group Appraising to sell them for quite a hefty amount of Fol.

In the early game you can pump skill points in to Purity to gain some quick and easy Fol. You can also buy cooking ingredients and cook them, reselling them for profit but it does take some time to really accumulate the Fol this way. The way the Bloody Armor works is that you take 0 damage from the enemy while you wear it but you rapidly begin losing HP. Fortunately, it's not fast enough to stop your healer from topping you off rather easily.

The gist of this is that if the boss is too hard then you can equip everyone with Bloody Armor and just heal through the life drain. There are two islands located between the continents here, the larger one is barely large enough to land the Psynard and is the one you want.
