It's very small, and the download gives you a choice between an installer or zipped as a no-install. I always choose the no-install option which allows me to download, unzip, and run it wherever and whenever I wish. It provides the same functionality, and adds visual styles to the dialog and also enhances it by displaying thumbnail preview of the application that will be switched to. The unique capabilities of TaskSwitchXP make it useful for tracking down multitudinous windows, and provide insight into the way Windows and applications work.
From Clif Richard wrote me about this program. It sounds good. Thanks for writing me about it! I have used a small program called Cablenut to change the ISP connection enhancing the download speed. For me I've noticed a huge difference in download time and I thought folks might like to know about this Cablenut, after all it is free and it does work.
Tweak your broadband connection with this free Cablenut 4. Over 60 custom tweak files for the Cablenut program. Easy to use.
Be sure to back up your registry prior to tweaking. As you can see from the various test results below it significantly boosted Comcasts download speed - within a T-1 level. Cablenut provides a community support forum if you need help. Give it a whirl you'll be pleasantly surprised. Thanks Clif for all the useful information your newsletter provides. Keep up the good work. From Clif Gmail doesn't allow you to easily add new contacts from your contact list when you are forwarding an email.
Some services allow you to choose the contacts from your contact list by clicking on them before you send the email. From Phil I have discovered a way to do it and wanted to pass this along to you. Knowing how clever you are you most likely know this already, but in case you don't, here it is.
This can be done is several ways so just the premise is important. You read an e-mail that is needed to be be forwarded to many.
Open a new e-mail via the contacts list. Select from the list who you want to send it to Select "Compose", the one directly about your list, not the one on the left column. Copy the list after all the needed contacts are in the "To" box Close the new email Open the email you need to forward Paste your contact list in your forward box of the e-mail that is to be forwarded.
Hope that you find this info helpful. Thank you for all of the hard work you do in finding us programs. I guess I've got a good memory or a small list of friends. You need a Gmail account to access many of the cool features at Google.
If you're lucky and travelling with your notebook computer, maybe your hotel, motel, friend's house, relative's home, campground or RV park will have a wireless connection available. Most hotels don't bother with wired connections, although a few do. If you don't have wired or wireless available, or if the wireless connection doesn't work for some reason, you'll need dialup.
Microsoft is encouraging people to try out their newest operating system before they really have all the bugs worked out. It might be fun to try it but I decided not to after I read these items. Time-limited software Windows Vista Beta 2 and RC1 is time-limited, pre-release software that will expire on June 1, In addition, once you install Windows Vista Beta 2 or RC1 you cannot roll back to the previous operating system installation—you will either have to acquire and install the final released edition of Windows Vista or reinstall a previous edition of Windows.
Vista beta preview. It's good protection for the average user at the best price. Ewido is basically a live protection program that targets spyware and trojan viruses that try to secretly use your PC to transmit your personal information or worse yet, turn your PC into a spamming machine or a zombi PC. I tried out Ewido's software when it first came out over two years ago, and I was impressed with it.
Both companies have offered free services and I'm hoping Grisoft will continue to keep it's free offerings while combining the best of both sets of programs. Keep your fingers crossed! From Clif Thanks to JimiPocius for sending me this article. It just confirms some of the suspicions I've had about Microsoft. From eWeek It turns out that Microsoft's Genuine Advantage anti-piracy program is also keeping daily tabs on Windows users.
